About us

ACTS Kids is a 9-month theological program for youth ages 8-13 who are looking to deepen their knowledge of the faith and discover their God-given talents.

Held on the first Saturday of every month, the youth will participate in a series of workshops, lectures, and fellowship activities, leading up to a final project. This program aims to form participants through education, service, community, and worship so that they may be filled with all the fullness of God‍ ‍(Eph 3:19).

Pillars

1. Education

“…search for God, and as far as possible to make an effort to know him. This is the highest form of study, the supreme revelation, real knowledge, not to be overthrown by reason. This has to be the only knowledge known to wisdom.” - St. Clement of Alexandria

  • Participants will grow in their understanding of the faith through the study of doctrine, rites, Scripture, and the writings of the Church Fathers. This pillar emphasizes cultivating a deeper intellectual relationship with truth, helping participants articulate and defend their faith with clarity and conviction.

2. Formation

“…there [the heart] too is God and the angels, life is there, and the Kingdom, there too is light, and there the apostles and heavenly cities, and treasures of grace. All things lie within that little space. - St Macarius the Great

  • Through mentorship, participants will undergo personal and moral formation rooted in virtue. This pillar focuses on shaping the inner man, so that one’s character becomes a reflection of their faith, embodied in daily actions and relationships.

3. Mission

"The wise man must be formed, not only in knowledge, but in life. For the goal is not merely to know the truth, but to become it." - St. Clement of Alexandria

  • Participants are called to live out their faith through acts of service. This pillar emphasizes a love that moves beyond intention into action—serving the poor, supporting their communities, and bearing witness to the Gospel through works. In doing so, participants learn to encounter Christ in others and to become faithful witnesses to the Truth in the world.
